Royal Bafokeng Platinum Production Dips One Percent

Mineweb reported Royal Bafokeng Platinum said its production dipped one percent in September as a three-day wildcat strike hit.

As quoted in the market news:

The company reported production of 621,353 tonnes for the July-September quarter, down 43,262 tonnes from the previous quarter.

RBPlat’s employees held a three-day wildcat strike in August demanding monthly salaries of 12,500 rand ($1,400), resuming work on promises that grievances unrelated to pay would be looked into.
