Brompton Funds Management Limited reported the closing of the warrant offering for Precious Metals Bullion Trust (TSX:PBU.UN). Gross proceeds of the offering totaled $26.7 million, representing approximately 89% of the maximum available subscription.
The press release is quoted as saying:
The net proceeds of the Warrant offering were used to purchase approximately equal dollar amounts of physical gold, silver and platinum bullion in accordance with the investment objectives and restrictions of the Fund. All of the Fund’s physical bullion is stored on an allocated, segregated basis.
